Bowl for Kid’s Sake (BFKS) is a national Big Brothers Big Sisters signature fundraising event, which features more than 50 local companies and more than 1,000 bowlers! This event is a great opportunity to have fun with friends, colleagues and family while supporting the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters. This year our goal is to raise $200,000 in metro Atlanta from corporations and individual fundraisers. All proceeds raised are used to support the one-to-one mentoring programs of Big Brothers Big Sisters which serves children facing adversity in 12 metro Atlanta counties.

In addition to the Main Event, which welcomes fundraisers from all industries, we also host several industry-specific bowling challenges. The fundraiser, which takes place throughout the months of February, March and April, is broken down into the following challenges: Main Event, Finance & Accounting, Technology and Greek. To participate in BFKS, all you have to do is recruit five, friends, family members and/or coworkers to join your team. Each team of six will be responsible for raising a minimum of $1,500 collectively, or $250.00 per person. Each team will have their own personalized webpage which will feature a donation portal and a dashboard to see how their fundraising efforts measure up to other teams.

After the fundraising ends, teams from each challenge get together at the bowling alley for a celebratory bowling party! Everything is taken care of, you just need to bring the fun! We provide two games of bowling, bowling shoes, gaming cards, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.
